Saturday's Outfit

 When the weekend comes...

Last Saturday I got invited out for a friend's 25th birthday. It was a good night with live music and drinks and all the rest of it. I really wasn't sure what I was going to wear (same old story I think!) But when I was in Tesco earlier that day I seen a lovely grey and black checked top from F&F for only £7 and thought, that's just the thing. Here's my outfit for the night...

On my lips I wore Revlon's Fire and Ice lipstick and on my nails it was Attitude's Burnt Orange polish (there's a photo on my last post of the polish if you wish to see).

Spring Back!

 Nails. Nails, Nails!

It has been quite a while since I've posted on my blog. There's been lots going on over the last few weeks, plus, my laptop has been playing up like crazy (I know, the excuses!) but it has actually been quite nice to have some time out from the computer and focusing on other things.

I thought I'd share with you some of the things I have been up to over this time, including my Easter Nails which are long overdue. We had a little Easter nail art competition in college a couple of weeks ago and I actually managed to win a Cream Egg Easter egg which I was quite chuffed about.

Sticking with nails, here's a couple other colours I've been wearing and loving... Lots of bright shades for Spring and a couple of french tip abbreviations I've been playing about with.

I hope you like the nail looks apologies again for neglecting the blogging for a while. Hopefully that will be me back and posting more regularly.

Today's Make Up - Teal

 Colour Pop!

I was up and about early this morning and decided to go for a little stroll around the shops. For a while I have had the desire to try out some new make up colours, something a bit bolder and brighter, especially on my eyes, instead of using neutrals everyday.

So wandering down the make up isles I was enjoying having a look at what kinds of colours they were offering and teal eyeliners seemed to be the ones standing out for me today. I went ahead and purchased Collection's Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip in Teal and thought I would show you what's it's like. I think it's beautiful and I'm really glad I bought it. The good thing is, it's not too over-the-top as some blues / greens can be in make up. Quite subtle but a lovely change!
