Avon Glimmersticks

Good afternoon everyone! I'm sitting here writing this post while it's pouring down with rain outside with the occasional flash of lightning and rumble of thunder. I was hoping to go out on my motorbike tonight but that doesn't look like it will be happening. 

On a cheerier note, my day has been brightened up because It's that time again when the Avon boxes come to the door and I get a nice little surprise when I remember what I ordered. This time I went for a few of their well-known Glimmersticks eyeliners. They were on a special offer (hoorah for Avon's many special offers) so I bought myself a little selection. This isn't a review post as I've not tried then all out yet, I just wanted to show you my new make up.

I bought four this time and the colours are listed above ^ 

'Pearly' and 'Brighten Up Pink' are waterproof while the black and the brown are standard. Sorry the pink didn't come up too well in the swatch photo but it's quite hard to see anyway as it's quite nude.

Brightening Make Up - Before and After

Good morning! Here's an everyday look which helps to brighten and lift the face for a healthy glow.

This make up is all about making the skin flawless and bright, whilst opening up the eyes with shadows and highlights. 

♥ I used a light liquid foundation all over the face using a soft buffing brush.

♥ Although her skin is in beautiful condition, I still used concealer under the eyes and around the mouth to give a more even complexion. 

♥ Over the eyes I used a shimmery bronze shade with darker brown through the crease and a 3rd of the way  in under the eye. Then I added highlighter to the brow bone. 

♥ Lot's of black mascara, it works wonders!

♥ Filling in eyebrows also makes a huge amount of difference when going for an open eyed look, it completely shapes the face and defines your eyes. I just followed her brow shape keeping it natural looking.

♥ After powdering with loose powder I applied a rose pink blush to the apples of the cheek for a pretty glow. Followed by a similar shade lip colour.
